Slaycuts — Customer privacy policy

Slaycuts is committed to maintaining the privacy of its Users and ensuring clarity in how Personal Data is handled. By registering on or using the Platform at http://slaycuts.com, you acknowledge that you have read this Customer Privacy Policy and the Slaycuts Terms of Use.

For this policy, "User" means any individual who accesses, registers on, or uses the Platform to browse, bid for, book, or pay for services. "Personal Data" means data about you collected in connection with use of the Platform.

Services

Slaycuts operates a digital marketplace that facilitates discovery, bidding (including accept, decline, or counter-offers where available), direct booking, and online payment for grooming and salon services offered by independent Service Providers.

Personal data we may collect

• Identifying information: name, email, phone number, profile details, and location or address information you provide (such as map pin or locality) for bids and bookings.
• Service and booking information: services requested, budget or bid amount, appointment date and time, bids received, salon selected, and booking status.
• Transactional information: payment references, status, amounts, invoices where shown. We do not store full card numbers; payment instruments are processed by authorised gateways such as Razorpay.
• Usage and technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, access logs, cookies, and similar data to operate and secure the Platform.
• Communications: support requests, feedback, and messages you send to us.

Slaycuts does not sell Personal Data to third parties and does not use it for purposes other than those described here, except with your consent or as permitted by law.

How we collect personal data

• Direct interactions: information you provide when registering, completing your profile, posting bids or bookings, or contacting us.
• Automated technologies: technical and usage data via cookies, server logs, and similar technologies as you use the Platform.
• Third parties: limited data from payment processors, analytics, or communications providers engaged to operate the Platform.

How we use personal data

We process Personal Data as necessary to provide the services you request, comply with law, and secure the Platform. This includes: registering you as a customer; managing bids, bookings, payments, fees, and refunds; sending service-related notifications; operating, maintaining, and securing the Platform; troubleshooting and fraud prevention; and improving functionality. Marketing or promotional messages, where used, will be based on consent where required by law.

Disclosure to third parties

We may disclose Personal Data to Service Providers to the extent needed to evaluate and fulfil your requests and bookings; to payment processors and technology partners who assist us subject to confidentiality obligations; and as required for mergers, acquisitions, or legal compliance. Third parties may not use your Personal Data for unrelated purposes.

Data security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect Personal Data against accidental loss, unauthorised access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. In the event of a breach, we will take remedial steps and notify affected Users and/or authorities as required by applicable law.

Retention

Data transfer

Personal Data collected under this policy is stored and processed primarily within India. If any subprocessor stores data outside India, we rely on safeguards required by applicable Indian law and contractual protections.

Data deletion and correction

You may request deletion, correction, or update of your Personal Data by writing to us at noreply@slaycuts.com. We will take reasonable steps to comply in accordance with applicable law, subject to retention necessary for legal obligations or lawful purposes.

Children

The Platform is intended for individuals who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children below that age. If we become aware of such collection without appropriate consent, we will delete the data as required by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on the Platform. Please review this page periodically.
